Mr. Tanee Sangrat(Royal Thai Ambassador to Korea ) Visits Cyber Hankuk University of Foreign Studies

On Friday, November 7 2025, Cyber Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (CUFS) welcomed H.E. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Korea, for a courtesy visit and meeting with the university’s leadership. During the visit, both sides discussed ways to strengthen Korea–Thailand cooperation in education and cultural exchange.

Ambassador Tanee Sangrat visited CUFS to explore opportunities to expand collaboration between the university and Thai higher education institutions and related organizations. 
Participants reviewed the current status of Thai students enrolled at CUFS and exchanged views on potential areas of cooperation in education and culture. Acting President Kim Byong-cheol stated, “Building on our online education platform that enables learning anytime and anywhere, CUFS will actively expand educational cooperation with Thailand,” adding, “We hope this visit by the Ambassador will serve as a meaningful opportunity to further invigorate educational and cultural exchanges between our two countries.”
 

Following the meeting, Ambassador Tanee Sangrat toured CUFS’s online lecture studios, where he was introduced to the university’s digital learning infrastructure and the content production process. 

CUFS offers a wide range of academic programs, including foreign language majors such as Korean, English, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, Vietnamese, and Indonesian, as well as programs in Business Administration, Industrial Safety and Housing Management, Counseling Psychology, and K-Beauty. Currently, international students from 35 countries are enrolled at the university, reflecting its growing global reach.
