CUFS Hosts 2025 International Student Welcome Event
Cyber Hankuk University of Foreign Studies held a “2026 International Student Welcome Event” on March 28.
Organized by the Global Education Institute, the event was designed to help international students smoothly adapt to their new academic environment while fostering interaction among students of diverse nationalities. Approximately 70 international students from countries including Vietnam, Indonesia, and China attended the event.
The program was divided into two sessions. The first session featured an orientation on university life, providing practical information on academic support systems, student guidance policies, and welfare services available to international students. During this session, the university also gathered feedback from students regarding potential challenges they may encounter in their coursework and emphasized its commitment to reflecting these insights in future academic operations.
The second session included interactive activities such as Korean language quizzes and table games, encouraging active participation and communication among students. Through these activities, participants had the opportunity to build connections and develop a sense of community.
A representative from the Global Education Institute stated that the event served as a meaningful opportunity for international students from diverse cultural backgrounds to better understand one another and integrate into the university community. The institute also reaffirmed its commitment to expanding tailored support programs that address the specific needs of international students, helping them successfully adapt to both their academic pursuits and campus life.
