Offered regularly throughout the year, the online Korean courses teach Korean systematically from beginner to advanced levels. The program’s diverse offerings range from beginner courses that develop the communication skills necessary for daily life to advanced courses that prepare one for professional activities, such as employment and graduate school, enabling the effective learning of Korean.

Learners choose their own time and take classes at their own level. Each class is divided into a general course and a special course.

  • TOPIK Level 2 (Beginner)
    - Korean vocabulary and speaking

  • TOPIK Level 3 (Intermediate)
    - Korean vocabulary and speaking
    (Mon/Wed, 21:00~23:00)
    - Korean grammar and writing
    (Tue/Thu, 21:00~23:00)
  • TOPIK Level 4
    - Korean vocabulary and speaking
    (Mon/Wed, 20:00~22:00)
    - Korean grammar and writing
    (Tue/Thu, 20:00~22:00)
  • TOPIK Level 5 or above
    - Learning Korean through the News
    (Mon/Wed, 17:00~19:00)
Learning Korean through the News
This course is offered to those who have obtained a Korean Language Proficiency Test (TOPIK) score of 5 or higher or have graduated from the regular course of the Korean Language Department and wish to learn Korean in depth by following the news. By engaging in current affairs language learning, students will cultivate the Korean language skills necessary for their professional duties.
Tuition
All programs are operated as regular general courses and special courses.
Regular course: 10–15 students; 100,000 won
Special course: Five or fewer students; 200,000 won

*The medium of instruction is Korean.
**This is an online course, and it is not possible for students to obtain a general training visa (D4) on the basis of taking the course.

  • Lesson period: four weeks
  • Total hours of classes: 16 hours
  • Day of class: twice weekly (various days of the week depending on the course)
  • Number of students in class: five students in special courses, 10–15 students in general courses
  • Criteria for issuing certificates: 90% or better attendance; no tests
