In September 2022, Cyber Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, which promotes global talent through 'language + culture' specialized education, established the Global Education Institute as a non-degree educational institution. The Institute offers Korean language and cultural education, as well as international exchanges with foreigners and overseas Koreans.

Drawing on our extensive experience in online language education over the past 20 years as Korea's only "foreign language specialization" cyber university, the Institute aims to help students become global citizens and hone practical skills in a rapidly changing, hyperconnected society.

The Global Education Institute's programs operate online, offline, or in a mixed format depending on the nature of the program, and the number of students in each course is kept low to maximize interactions between instructors and learners. By providing two-way online teaching and learning activities using real-time and asynchronous online interaction tools, we cultivate a teaching and learning environment that welcomes an influx of learners. In addition, we strive to promote the best learning outcome by providing opportunities to experience Korean language and culture directly through short-term Korean visit training.
