The Department of Occupational Safety & Housing Management offers courses that investigates engineering approaches and socio-scientific analyses. Safety issues are dealt with in a managerial perspective so that students can use the knowledge throughout their careers, from a safety expert early in one’s career who takes care of on-site issues to a person in a senior executive role. We provide customized courses to those who want to obtain certifications in industrial hygiene and safety and to those working in the fields of manufacturing, service, and construction who are interested in safety and health issues.

And we offer a state-of-the-art curriculum that goes beyond physical facility maintenance, focusing on resident-centered, customized management that considers community characteristics. By learning the basic theories of housing management and related laws and regulations, you will understand the core principles of housing management. Additionally, you will acquire the skills and expertise necessary for practical housing management tasks. These include improving the safety and quality of residential facilities, developing and implementing sustainable housing management strategies, and enhancing resident satisfaction, thereby fostering professionals who integrate theory with practice.
